| The AIDS Initiative While there continues to be encouraging
medical developments in the fight against AIDS, The Fund's AIDS Initiative remains as
important as ever in supporting the health and well-being of entertainment professionals
who are living with the virus. The AIDS Initiative seeks to help both men and women
learn how to live with and manage the disease.
The AIDS Initiative provides a comprehensive roster of confidential services:

- Financial assistance for necessities such as rent, utilities, insurance and medical
expenses
- Referrals to our network of community and union supports, such as alternative treatment
providers, dental clinics, debt management services and information sources
- Short-term support groups and educational seminars
